During the last years, Dresden has developed itself into a leading European location for microelectronics with its 1,200 businesses and about 40,000 employees. From chip manufacturing to the end user products industry covers the complete value chain. And don’t forget: the golden city of Prague, which is reachable within 2 hours. “Elbflorenz” and the near surroundings offer a lot of sport activities, like: cycling, roller skating at the Great Garden, several climbing places in summer and ice skating in winter.
